Bobby, I've only ever had Lasagna with flat squares of pasta!

tugman22

ugh!!!! Bob!!! LOL Good time by you. :-))

Zatoichicat

Tman... Dinner's ready.... Enjoy! http://www.jigidi.com/puzzle.php?id=CVD24N2N

Zatoichicat

As an explaination ... Homemade noodle Lasagna: Lasagna made with homemade noodles, as opposed to Lasagna made with store bought noodles.

PuzzleMac

I need a bit more Lime juice for my pico de gallo, but I don't think I'd like what I'd squeeze out of this! Lime Bird Squirt! LOL!

tugman22

I think the meditation is helping. I've not heard of noodle lasagne. Send me some, Bobby!! I love udon noodles ! :-))))

tugman22

I agree, Ducky, that there are the natural cycles of the Earth whether humans were here or not. :-))

Thank you for all your kind comments. I guess what I want to say, is that I have watched a whole lot of Climate Change videos of professors, seminars and looked at their charts and have gone online discovering one thing after another. It's not only over population, it's that "they" aren't doing anything about anything it seems. Even when you recycle and drive efficient cars, there is some logical explanation why that, at this time, is not enough. Recycle is just shipped to landfills in other countries, and efficient cars require a huge pull on raw materials to make them. Finding out about near term life extinction, like in the next few years or so, because there are over 30 self-reinforcing feedback loops having been triggered, that cannot be reversed, no matter what can be done at this point, has me totally paralyzed. I was at the Univ. of Pennsylvania on the first Earth Day. We did all the right things, and governments and business knew back then that this train was coming. Too bad greed and politics became Gods! Oh there isn't any "debate" any longer 95% of scientists have agreed. 5% deniers have had too much coolaide. We are the most brainwashed population on the planet, opps North K...n's hold that title. OK Tman, I turn the soapbox over to someone else. Thanks for listening. Oah, and listening to professors lecture is still a drag. On the brighter side, I made homemade noodle Lasagna and a loaf of bread today. Listening to Oprah/Deepak Chopra's new meditation on Grace must be helping. Be well all my Loves

ibeeducky

I totally agree about overpopulation!!!
However, I have problems with the "climate change theories". There is way too much "research monies" tied into things like "climate change"...thus there is huge manipulation of data. Yes. humans are in a small part affecting climate...one big area is rainforest destruction. In my own area, the wind turbines are screwing up the upper atmosphere and causing climate changes.

tugman22

I didn't read that into your comment at all, Bob, so no worries. Not sure why you would think that. We all need to try as hard as we can.

I often wonder what the population of the World would be if there hadn't been 2 World Wars, the Black Death, etc. etc!!

PuzzleMac

I'm sorry, John. My last rant was not precise and made you sound as if you were against helping the planet. I only meant that you like the day and I'm more of a night person. And I'm right in there with you on the overpopulation problem! Here in the States, the only reason they needed was that there weren't enough people to support the aging WWII baby boomers (of which I am the tail end of)! No one mentioned that we didn't have the resources to support another baby boom!

tugman22

Hi, Bob. I do as much as I can to help the situation. Even as a child I was fascinated by recycling, and that was when it was just starting. I might look at an electric car next time I buy one. Yeah, definitely a "soapbox" day!!!!!!!

tugman22

Well we don't often have droughts, Sue. Our main problem in the past has been that we get such regular rain that we haven't prepared enough for those times when it does happen. Seems like a "soapbox" day!! LOLOL

tugman22

Bobby, I don't have a problem with you mentioning global warming. It is a fact. I wouldn't want to get into heavy discussions with those that don't think so. My bugbear is overpopulation. We seem to be like lemmings going over the cliff. Enough of that or I'll get started!! LOL

PuzzleMac

Here is where john and I, really split, I love the winter, thunderstorms, snow, etc., but with global warming, everything is going wrong. All we can do is keep watch and wait for chances to help. I do as much as I can. Recycle, use low emission cars, properly dispose of dangerous items, but they make even this a problem. We can hope that someone, soon, will see the light and help us start on a newer path. Here is a more hopeful view from some of the most knowledgeable people on how to fix things with the least impact on our daily lives, to help the future! http://weather.climate25.com/

Pretty little bird! Its very humid here, after yesterday's full day of thunder storms. Going outside and taking a breath would probably result in drowning. :-( However, everything looks clean and fresh, and the plant roots are surely happy (California has been in a state of drought).

Zatoichicat

Hi Guys... all y'all... I have a question... Is it alright to talk about climate change with you? I'm very upset and really depressed and am trying not to freak out (especially in front of my husband) but I can't seem to "shake it off", as the "kids" say. I've watched a lot of professors, seminars, lectures, etc. on YouTube. Just to let you know how obsessed I am with jigidi.. I split the windows and listen/watch while I do the jigs. LOL no wonder i'm so slow!!!! ROTFLMAO... Finding the joy where ever I can...

tugman22

I am a sun lover, Nancy. I hate the winter! :-((( As I said to Vero, we are gettIng some regular rain and the temps are very comfortable.

There's too much grey/black background for most solvers!! I loved the photo so....................!! LOL

calluna

Why not, John? He's cute!...and it's a good photo. We envy him his refreshing moments. One more day of 90s for us before cooling back down to mid-70s by mid-week. Admit to loving the sunny skies (though not so much the 90s) but do miss Mother Nature's assistance with garden watering. :-))

tugman22

I don't think that many people will do this jig, Vero!

Comfortable temperatures here with some regular rain. Ideal for the garden!! I don't suppose that it gets very cold in the winter for you?

I shall like being in the rain as this bird, here it becomes very difficult with the heat wave
