Thank you Denise! Yes, that's snow! We are very fortunate here in the Vancouver area because it often snows at the higher elevations but rarely down here where most of us live.

Thank you Lorna. They are quite close actually. You drive or take the bus up to the start of the trails and then you are hiking on the foothills of those mountains. Or you can take the gondola up to the top of Grouse Mountain.

We flew into Vancouver when we caught out Alaskan Cruise. You have a very pretty city Cevas.

Lovely picture Cathy. I'm wondering just how close those mountains actually are? I suspect you'll tell me they are further away than I'd imagine!
