The green stuff you see in the photo is mostly landscaping that is kept reasonably well watered. That is pretty scary, Laura. I had never encountered the term "fire dragon" before, but it is very appropriate. Wildfires can be treacherous.

Have a look at this photo I took while my husband fought a "fire dragon" here in Arizona. We were both volunteers with our local department, though he was a firefighter and I did other things.
