That's true! I don't always remember that, and I end up feeling that I've taken it too easy because a puzzle didn't take 3 hours... But if it was a good workout for whatever time it took, that really should be enough! Thanks, Aishahm!
Thanks, Bex_7--it really does make it harder, because the only clue is the color of the knob(s) on each piece! I really do love Sue's squares, and now her dots are a favorite, too. The squares are what got me started making my own grids--I couldn't get enough of hers, so I tried to make my own. They're not as good, but at least I have more to solve! :-)))
Thanks Pat, I enjoyed this one... though I didn't quite make the leaderboard (or beat you) at 56:25. I'm liking your idea of the piece per square - extra challenging ;-)
LOL! My time was 55:07, and I thought that it had more than enough pieces for me! The only larger size I would have liked to be able to make would have been 441, because that's how many squares there are (21 x 21), and that would have been even more difficult! I know, because my favorite puzzles are Sue1/49's "squares" ones, and the ones where the piece count equals the squares in the puzzle are always the hardest...
Thanks for telling me that, siouxzn, because I really enjoy making them, and I used to make a lot of them, but most of the comments I got were either for swirls or borders, not grids, so I pretty much stopping making them. I'll try to make sure I post them more often now! :-)))
