Ardy, have you ever read "Pillars of the Earth" by Kenn Follett? It's about building the first cathedral in England and how difficult it was, indeed one of the vaults fell down under a service!! It's an awfully good book, a little bit tough sometimes but you never forget the persons in there. They are SO splendidly described!! Thanks so very much!!

This is another photo from the vaults underneath the castle. We heard about the "fine" folks having parties yesterday, but the castle was filled with lots of other people doing their jobs while the "fine" ones feasted!
