This is Beautiful, pumpkin, a lovely thought, my thoughts are with Patti too.

What beautiful wildflowers. In case anyone cares, I looked them up: the lower left corner looks like a bloomed out bluebonnet (Lupinus texensis Hook. Texas bluebonnet, Bluebonnet, Texas lupine, Buffalo clover, Wolf-flower); i think the long spikes are slender verbena (Verbena halei Small, Slender verbena, Texas verbena, Texas vervain); and the red in the foreground are gaillardia [Gaillardia pulchella Foug. Firewheel, Indian Blanket, Asteraceae (Aster Family)]. wouldn't hazard a guess as to the blurry ones! Thanks so much for a lovely shot pumpkinhead (and National Geographic!).
