Sounds lovely, Lis.

I moved to the country side 11 years ago and I do prefer it. I also look over the fields, enjoy the special light up - and I enjoy the peace here after Copenhagen

parrotman22

I'll look up that place in a little while, Lis. I'm a country boy myself, I look over the fields and that's so much nicer than a cityscape!!

Hi John, actually Lis is not a short version, but my christian name. Haven't chatted to Elfie - yet. I live in the northern part of Denmark called Jammerbugt, only 50 km from Aalborg - in the country side together with 2cats

parrotman22

Thanks for that Lis ( presume that is a short version of your name). I am John and I live on Anglesey, North Wales. I don't know if you have chatted to Elfie (proper name Hanne) who commented below. She lives on Bornholm, Denmark. Bye for now.

callas777777

I do: Denmark now - before that I spent 23 years in Germany. My name is Lis

parrotman22

Thanks for that extra info, callas. Do you live in Europe?

callas777777

A very lovely castle in Bavaria. Inside I didn't find it so interesting. But very beatifulon on the outside - also in spring - it used to belong to King Ludwig, who¨committed suicide

parrotman22

dondi, many thanks for that extra info.

Everybody's favorite castle, and the inspiration for Disney's Fantasyland castle. Also a major jigsaw puzzle theme in sizes of 300 to 6000 pieces - see a number of views in my Favorite Puzzles series.

You're very welcome, Hanne!

Elfie

It's so surrealistic in its absurdity!! Something you see but can't believe to be so really!! Thanks so very much John!!

thanks for that comment, uu123. i didn't know where it was exactly so, thanks for clearing that up for me!

Neuschwanstein - lovely in the autumn. Even prettier in the winter when covered with snow.
