Pretty photo and they're pretty tasty, too.

robryan

That's a great close-up Dave - did you use the macro setting for this? I like the touch of orange too! Yes - ours grow all year round here just like Janet said!! Thanks!!

Gladstone

I would like them in my garden as well.
Thanks Dave.

jyl

The flowers are tasty. Someone dared me to eat one many years ago and I did. It was good. Therefore, I dare any of you to try one and discover that they are not just a pretty face. If you see bugs, you are allowed to wash them off before you eat it.

Some weeds are pretty to look at warbler, thanks for these. . . . ;))

warbler

I'm sure they did well there, Barb. I remember growing them in Kansas when I lived there.

I've seen them with aphids too lajuin. I've had soapy water discourage them.

Well then you have pretty weeds in Oz, Janet! :)))

I'm fuzzy-eyed right now too, Ellen but I see it!

They are all amazing, Laura. Thanks!

laurajane

Even the simplest of flowers is amazing when seen close up!

PutterDutt

Am I half fuzzy-eyed, or does it look like there's a faint green angel in the center of this one???

jan42ful

They grow like weeds where we live in OZ. This is a pretty close up, thanks Warbs, hugs, janet

cinderfire

Didn't know you could eat them. I sure have a lot to learn yet!! Pretty flower and guess it is worth a try. Ha Thanks Dave. :O))

lajuin

One of my favorite flowers. Problem is that the aphids like them, too and I have never been ble to solve that problem. Couple years ago I bought a culinary and kept it inside.

SunnyBarb25

Yep Dave....I grew them in IL....They are so pretty :)

warbler

Thanks els and Jacki for your comments!

They are an easy to grow annual from seed, Lyndee if you decide to try. Thanks

Your right for sure, Patti! Thanks for the insight!

PLG1958
