Thanks, Laura. I agree about the grass being greener somewhere else. However, it seems that every year here in Texas it's hotter longer! I long for some really cold and snowy weather for awhile.
California's climate is monotonous, so when we moved here I started enjoying the various seasons. But after nearly 10 years, it's "too hot" in the summer and "too cold" in the winter! Sort of like a "grass is always greener" syndrome. lol Great photo by the way!
MR, that's exactly how I feel. And Fodus, you're smart to do that, soon we'll all be outside doing stuff in our yards! Ank, that was a lifting little song, and I love Tulpen! Thanks, Maryrob, Ank, Fodus, Franneke, Lauralyn & Patti. Glad you stopped in.
Beautiful, lovely spring. It's an old Dutch song: When spring comes, I send you tulips from Amsterdam.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85U-77_5lWk The song is about 55 years old, always when I hear, or read "when spring comes" I have to think of it. I had been in hospital and when I got home I got the record of my parents.
This is a neat picture with the contrasts. I am waiting for Spring, too, but I know there are more than 6 weeks before we get Spring weather, so am doing winter jobs that I don't have time to do later.
