So this is the one???? For sure???? Positively???? LOL!
Whoops, I think I misunderstood what you meant about picking a favourite puzzle, I thought you meant from the smaller ones that I haven't done... so that's what I did... But far be it from me to do things incorrectly, I will now try to pick from the ones I have completed. More torture LOL!
Hi Robina! Laughing- yes, I suppose I'm a hoot at times. I asked you on another puzzle you left a comment on to let me know what your favorite puzzle of mine has been so far. I'd like to create another one that's similar and dedicate it to you again. :-)
Aren't you a hoot? I never even thought to look up 'toughie', I just assumed it wasn't a word. Well, I learn something new every day!
I also didn't realize our spelling was the same in more places than England and here, so today you were my 'home schooling teacher!' ;)
Thanks Wendy :)
Robina, yes, toughie is definitely a word...but just to make sure, I did a quick search...
Now don't tell anyone this, but I like the way Europeans and Canadians spell words much more than the way Americans spell. I think that New Zealanders and Australians also spell like you. And in fact, when I think about this, the US is probably the only nation that spells so 'basically.'
This was a toughie (is that a word?), but intriguing all the same... very fun assembling it (unlike a certain cabinet!). It's the kind where two pieces look like they might fit together, but while my brain is saying, nah, they aren't quite close enough, my hand is already doing it. And SURPRISE! they fit!
And I know I say this over and over, but I do love your colour choices!
On another note entirely, did you know that Brits and Canadians spell 'colour' differently than everywhere else? I always wonder if you notice and think I just don't know how to spell! ;)
Oh, no! You're right, Mandy...well sort of...dammit. I did my calculation right before I signed off to go to bed. But since you have 277 top spots right now, and you've been paying me $400,000 per top spot, you've paid me
$110,800,000 so far. You better start paying for a lot more top spots or at this rate I'll never be a billionaire.
Wendy, about 10% billionaire!! Its ONLY 110,800,000 - but after bank currency conversion costs and taxes - I don't suppose much of it ever reaches your savings account!!! But I wasn't good at math, so my figures are probably all wrong anyway!!! TeeHee
Judy, laughing out loud! I know YOU'RE not stupid. It's just that I'm waaaay smarter than Mandy. I'm almost a billionaire now because of all the money she pays me for those top spots (I charge $400,000 a top spot)....and she's got about 250 now...or maybe more. So I suppose I should recheck my savings account.
When I'm talking about top spots, it's the top of the top ten list. I don't know of any other ranking on Jigidi except the top ten list (of the fastest people).
Do you think I'm really stupid? I'm not getting into the middle of you and Mandy. However, you are sharing techniques with her, thus allowing her to use your secrets to stay on top, soooo.... Now being a math enthusiast, I understand perspective and the contortions required to see it properly, so keep hanging upside down, good for brain power, Wendy, although you seem to have an abundance.
Mandy just keep your head high, without a rope! Nothing wrong with your brain.
I now have a real question. Is there a ranking of some kind posted? Are you serious about "top spots"? I hate competition, but I love winning. I know I couldn't possibly compete with such accomplished talent here, but am just curious if something is posted regularly, other than the fastest solves. If you still like me, could I have an answer?
Judy, yes, of course I was hanging upside down. How else would I have been able to understand the perspective? Foolish Mandy was trying to figure it out when it was really a fruitless task. She should have known better and would have if she were smarter.
And speaking of show-offs, Judy, have you noticed how Mandy has way too many top spots? She pays me big bucks to allow her to sit at the top.
I'm glad you enjoyed it so much, whatnauts. I might post this one in a smaller size.
This was fun Wendy. I didn't make the board, but I enjoyed the puzzle very much.
Wemdy, do you mean YOU were hanging upside down? Did you use a rope, and how did you get positioned right above the keyboard? And all thatoffsetting from y(vertical)-axis must have been tricky. Is your keyboard/mouse wireless? LOL. That's hysterical.
Anyway, thanks for the kind words. Sorry to hear about your mom. My prayers are with you. Also, I'm glad you are soooooo smart. I like smart people. Mandy, don't let her intimidate you; we all encounter show'offs. teehee.
That's right, Mandy. And the reason why I knew the perspective and you didn't is because I'm waaaaaaaaaaaay smarter than you. hehehe
Of course, Wendy, why didn't I figure that out to begin with - now you tell me it makes so much sense!!!
Geeeez, Judy, I'm so sorry to hear that your mother died. I think mine is going to die soon too...so I dread the day. I'm glad that you're finding things to distract you. It's much better than not.
Mandy, the perspective is from hanging upside down...rotated about 15 degrees north, and then slightly raised on the Y axis with a shift to the northeastern border.
jranders, I like that. "Unexpected" fun. :-)
Spectacular. pretty, colorful, unexpected, fun to do....
This is superb, Wendy I love the perspective - although I can't decide if I am looking up, down or along!!!
Truly magnificent, Wendy. You never cease to please. I've been a bit rattled, so not contributing but minor efforts. My mom just died, so I'm more than a little down. Can't travel to the funeral, so I pass the time looking at beautiful or whimsical creations on my favorite site. Thanks for not letting me down!.
