Yellow now! - they were black in those days so it's no wonder I looked like a penguin!!! Thanks Graciela, good to hear that tour is still available to the tourist because it really is a one-off experience to witness all that water thundering down in front of you - and the noise of it....oh my gosh.

Chookies, the viewing platform still there but now they use yellow raincoats, so now we look like ripe bananas not penguins.

All true tex - it was a very popular tour back in those days and I wonder whether they do them anymore due to OH&S issues...I've got a slide here somewhere of me dressed like that, you certainly looked goofy but it kept your clothes dry, except the face of course, and ruined the makeup big time!!

I've actually been to Niagara Falls but I went to a viewing platform which was situated right at the bottom of the falls - and behind them - and we were all dressed in raincoats which made us all look like little penguins....the noise was deafening and of course we all got saturated, but it was the most wonderful experience. Thanks for bringing back memories Graciela:)

Too late tex, we are both on the way in our boats. WHOOEEEE!!!! What a trip we will have!!
