Hi Heidi ~ It really is strange since they're supposed to be characters of fun & enjoyment!!! I was never afraid of them but now, I think because of all the horror movies/stories that have been around for years, I enjoy them but get a tense feeling about them.........like the ones here in this picture!!! :))))
I've occasionally wondered why some psychologist doesn't do a study about what percentage of kids (or people in general) are afraid of clowns. I've heard some awful stories from friends about nightmarish experiences with clowns when they were little.
