A winters morning, Gloucestershire

That's right Jan. There had been a hard frost, but I was amused that I could tell where the cattle had been resting, for there were large areas of bright green, frost free grass on the edge of their field, by the path. Good job they have thick coats to keep warm!

Lovely! I thought the cows were huddled together to keep warm, but I see you remarked below that they're busy eating!

This was fairly early this morning Ank, and yes, it was rather cold, though I love these bright frosty mornings. The cattle were gathered around their feeding rack, tucking in to their breakfast!
