Why are you reporting this puzzle?

I made these KaleidoKwilt patterns from my own textures, and then mounted them on a stripy background.

It gives me immense pleasure making puzzles, and I hope it gives you pleasure solving them. (•‿•)

Gosh - if only ALL my puzzles could be like that. It's a spell I would cast over them all the time. LOL Glad you enjoyed it Ardy. And nighty night. Sleep well. ((HUGS))

I never meant to do this all tonight, Kirsten. But its one of those puzzles that you just can't stop. It's so fun. One piece leads to another and another and... Thank you. Loved every minute. 1:44:12 Time for me to go to bad. And yes, I did like your comment about bearing crosses and blessings. You are one huge blessing in my life. Night night. ((HUGS))

You just caught me before I hit the road, Joanne. Happily I can say that I HAVE snorkelled the GBR. I truly think it was one of the most wonderful things I have ever done in my life. It was like being immersed in a beautiful garden, surrounded by colourful birds and butterflies. We saw amazing fish, giant clams, reef sharks, turtles, gropers and more. Any time I'm up north again, I'll be doing it again. I too like to explore. Although I have to say, that there are times when a resort works for me. I work six days a week, so sometimes just chilling out is what I need. But even when we are staying at a resort, we'll explore as well. Must dash. Time to throw the stuff in the car, and hit the road. And thanks for the geocaching tip. I'll check it out when I get home. No functional internet where we are going. There's barely mobile (cell) phone coverage!! LOL Take care. And as always, it's been fun chatting. (•‿•)

Yeah, I know what you mean about traveling. We are going to the Caribbean island of St. John in February for 12 days. Most of the island is a National Park and, therefore protected, so snorkeling is the best to be found. Bucket list item of course is your "Great Barrier Reef". We have been to Exuma, Dominica, and Bonaire. We avoid Jamaica and any island where they tell tourists to stay on the resort property. We are adventurers and you never know where we'll be. On Dominica, our hostess thought we were crazy for the places we'd go to. She said she'd never go there and she's a native islander. Enjoy your trip and have a lot of future adventures. If you haven't done it yet, check out geocaching. It's a lot of fun and is a perfect match to those who like puzzles.

Hi ya Joanne! Yep, I'm in Melbourne (Victoria) Oz. Long plan trips are a way of life for us, if we want to visit the states or Europe. Or anywhere really, other than SE Asia or New Zealand. LOL I'm like you, I hate long plane trips. I remember when I first started travelling I thought I was SO sophisticated flying! LOL And now, I wish it was over minutes in. Ah, well. It's a necessary evil really - 'cos my travelling ain't over yet! (•‿•)

And it's funny about Steve Irwin. He wasn't that well known over here, when he broke over there and became huge! I think I wrote him off as a lightweight at first. But then I realised he was more that his larger-than-life TV character and was really concerned about animal conservation, and education. So that was a good thing.

Hi Kirsten, I just figure out you are in Australia. This has always been one of my bucket list places to visit. BUT, after going to Hawaii twice, I decided long plane trips are not fun. The Crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin, increased my intrigue with Australia even more. He even taught me to like and respect snakes. I still won't pick one up though.

Ah, the lure of the puzzle Anne! Like the sailors to the sirens. LOL So glad you had fun. And I will too. I'm off to Lake Eildon tomorrow morning. Can't wait! I hope you're well. (•‿•)

anther

Yeah, yeah, I know it's late but couldn't leave it - especially with all those pieces! Lots of fun while doing it - thanks Kirsten. Enjoy your time away my friend. :-))

RandomWorship

That's SO good to hear, csuew! I'm delighted you liked it, and it didn't trip you up. And thanks very much for your good wishes about my week-ends away. I think you can bank on me having fun with my friends!! Thanks again! (•‿•)

A great puzzle, didn't find it particularly tricky, it was lots of fun. Thank you. Enjoy you friends and have a good time.

You make my heart sing, Joanne! And have put the BIGGEST smile on my face. I was feeling a little downcast about this puzzle, as there was a lot of feedback on the medium size about it being very tricky. It's funny how as you go up the sizes, there is often less feedback about how challenging a puzzle is. I guess that people just expect them to be challenging in those sizes. Anyway, I'm really thrilled you like this one so much - and am SO pleased you told me. I'll definitely make another like it sometime in the future. Thanks again. And I hope you're well. (•‿•)

Hi Kirsten, This is one of the "funnest" puzzles I've ever done. With my time of 58:11, I missed the scoreboard by only a few seconds. I love the theme of stripes in alternating squares. Thank you so much for taking the time to create.

RandomWorship

Oh, Davon. Sorry. I think I got myself into a bit of a lather about the number of "tricky" comments. I'm glad you like tricky - although I can assure you, despite my joking along with you about "my evilness", I don't deliberately make them tricky. I just make what I think looks nice, and hope that it will be a fun solve. Sometimes they just include a little unintentional trickiness, like this one.

But thank you for your wonderful words. I WILL have a fun time. And look forward to making some more puzzles for you that you love, when I get back. Thanks again. (•‿•)

RandomWorship

Gosh Sue. All the sizes? I'm stoked! You must have REALLY liked this one! Thanks so much for letting me know. Big smiles here. (•‿•)

davie

Oh, no! I like tricky. And I love large puzzles Kirsten. Truly. Which is why I don't usually waste my time looking at puzzles under 'huge' and 'large'. Keep them coming just the way you do, except for the next two weeks when I hope you do nothing more than relax, laugh and make memories. Then please come back and let your evil instincts reign! We'll all be right here waiting. Yet Janet had one thing right. I kept pulling flowers to the side thinking they were the center pieces until I realized I couldn't possibly have that many center pieces. But as I already stated, the 'trickiness', or unpredictability of your puzzles is why we love them. Take care and have a wonderful time.

It took awhile 1:18:44, but I enjoyed the ride. Did all the sizes and had hours of fun. Thanks, Kirsten.

RandomWorship

No worries. Think I'm a bit over-sensitive after the wave of feedback about how tricky this one is on the medium size. Sorry. (•‿•)

And no, we're not staying at Lake House. I've eaten there a couple of times myself, and would love to again. But some of our party are a little skint - so we'll be probably eat out on Friday night in town somewhere - or perhaps up at Hepburn. And on Saturday - we'll have a big cook up at home. Think the kitchen scene from "The Big Chill". LOL Music, wine and food. Aaaaah. (•‿•)

GoldenCat

Oh I wasn't complaining I assure you :) Are you staying at Lake House? We spent a weekend there a year or so ago - smashing food ! Have a great time :)

RandomWorship

Well, apparently I DO have another sorry in me - so here it is. Sorry, Janet! I am a fan of symmetry, so wanted the patterned ones to have the same number of "flowers" in them. And like it when the pattern isn't chopped off at the edges.

It IS hard to believe it's the end of August already. I'll be going away for the next two weekends. Next weekend I'll be up at Lake Eildon - for a memorial event and scattering of ashes of a good friend's father. Despite the solemnity of the occasion, it will be mostly fun - because he was a big child! So he will be sent off in kind. And then the following weekend I'll be up at Daylesford. It's my middle sister's 50th, and my youngest sister and I thought we would take her away for the weekend, along with another 10 or so of her good friends. Good food, massage, laughs. What more could you ask for? And just in case you miss my message on my latest puzzle, I won't be posting while I'm away. I hope you have a good week. (•‿•)

GoldenCat

Thanks Kirsten. It is vey sneaky - sorry, very clever of you to get the breaks at the edges of the design. I collected all the blue bits with a flower on in one group, and all the blue bits with white dots in another, and then found they all went together! End of month again - can't believe it, someone will say Christmas next :) Cheers, Janet

RandomWorship

Oh, my Davon. I've just apologised about a million times on the medium size! I'm all outta "sorry". LOL I hope it wasn't as hard as you thought. And that you enjoyed it. (•‿•)

davie

Oh I see we're rediscovered our evilness. Two squares in each row exactly the same. Have you no shame woman?

davie

And 500 pieces! Like June's black and white checkered piece...I'll have to have some coffee and get my courage up for this one!
