Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Here we are, in a little nook of our living room, relaxing after the Christmas festivities........
Mrs.Bugosi is keeping a foot on the base of our Christmas tree, having heard of the mysterious
'falling over' of Bubba-in-Bermuda's lovely tree.......I am studying a Bonga-Bonga Christmas caterpillar,
which is crawling across the carpet, looking for a quiet place in which to undergo its metamorphosis
into a beautiful Bonga-Bonga Flutterby (probably inside my birthday slippers).......
This year we have a life-like effigy of uncle Bluebottle atop our tree, as we were tired of the fairy........

Yes, perhaps that is best, Lela. I shall stick it to myself then.

lelabugosi

Thank you, precious-pebble, for your compliments........Wishing you all the best too, also, as well!...
double-batter......After having seen david-numbers last puzzle, I did some calculations and it would seem that New Year in Bonga-Bonga has already come and gone......We appear to be an exception to the rule, so not to worry as you have missed that also, as well.........(probably best to stick to your own celebrations under the circumstances).......

twoclubs

Oh I just arrived. I am late for the soiree! Lela invited me at 7:00 but I didn't realize it was two days ago. I thought it was for tonight, New Year's Eve!! For shame! I missed the boat. Please, ask Mrs. B. to forgive me. Tah Tah. I shall see you soon.

gemstone

Happy New Year, lela, to you and the Mrs. and all those who love you. Hope 2013 (very soon for you :) brings good health, good friends, and lots of fun and laughter. :DDD Cheers, Faye

P.S. jigidi is not the same when you're on holiday! Hee hee

lelabugosi

Fear not, bookie-person.......nothing has been squished (yet)!........I am walking around (well, hopping) in one slipper.........the other is playing mother in the wardrobe........
Hanne.....I will ask nicely.........

Elfie

Glad you said ......sometimes!! You mostly are I would say!! I would like to see the Flutterby too when it appears some day, just ask it to come out of the slipper and not be shy. We will all be nice to him/her!

lelabugosi

Hanne-with-pipe....I am ALWAYS good.....sometimes.......
noggin-the-nog......you are getting confused between your noggin and my noggin......I know you are not my noggin, just as much as my noggin doesn't belong to you.......now drink your beer up, there's a good boy.......
david-soggy-accordion.........If the Flutterby doesn't flutter too far away, I will gladly show it to you.....(assuming it eventually gets out of my slipper, of course).........

david06520

I hope that you will show us that Flutterby once it has Fluttered. Always interested in the Flauna and Fora.

noggin

Excuse me, I have never worn your 'elegant cap' nobody knocked it off me and further more I am not your Noggin, I belong to Junee

Elfie

Oh Lela, shame on you, go and study your caterpillar - and be good!!

lelabugosi

Shhhh, bookie-person!.........I bought it at a shop called 'Paris Fashions' and told Mrs.Bugosi that it was straight from the Paris fashions (Hee-Hee!)........

lelabugosi

What has brought on this mass attack?!.........I had a shoe thrown at me, which could have knocked my elegant cap off my noggin......yet there is no sympathy.......
For what it's worth, Mrs.Bugosi encourages my study of the Christmas patercillar, as she gets to use the fluffy white stuff for her creations, when it pupates inside my slipper......
As for the mad deserter Le-Squirt....if you believe anything that charlatan says then you are as insane as he is!.........
And now I shall return to my slipper, with no thought at all for any adventures.......

Surreal_Heidi

One look at this picture, and I had an epiphany! I suddenly realized that everything PatSquire has said about you is true! What a shock! What a revelation!

Elfie

- and she is, isn't she???

juneshone

sitting holding her fragrant hand would have been even better, Has your marriage reached such a stage that you find caterpillars more interesting. What's next, cockroach racing? Put some of the magic back into things man instead of dreaming up more adventures, you are aren't you?

teamac

Lovely picture...but that was naughty of you to have Mrs B holding the tree.
Perhaps plying Mrs B with a few more nips from the bottle before telling her the truth would have served you better...

Elfie

Another interesting detail in the picture!! Makes it worth much more indeed!!

lelabugosi

(hee-hee!).......

stacker

You know the old saying "If the shoe hits---wear it!!"

lelabugosi

precious-pebble......Yes, it is insured..........by my own company........(I might just leave the shoe in it)....
Mrs. B's dress is a little Dristian Chior number....from the thrift store........

gemstone

Oh, goodness...will insurance cover the restoration cost?

BTW Mrs. Bugosi...love the dress! One of your lovely creations?

lelabugosi

Trouble is, the masterpiece (which now has a shoe in it) was hanging in the Oils, Lithographs, & Drawings section of the Bugosi Art Gallery (O.L.D.B.A.G.).......we only borrowed it for the Christmas period.........

Elfie

Doesn't matter that much what you hit as long as you hit something - or somebody!! Good luck!!

MrsBugosi

Mrs.Cakes.......next time, I'll throw the bottle!........

cakes1947

Lovely home ~ I agree with Robbie, great ceiling! Love the ''retro-ish'' yellow seating too!!! Thanks Lela!! :)))
(time, 2:28)
Mrs Bugosi ~ please practice your aim. heh heh heh

lelabugosi

Well...when I say it missed....I mean, it missed me........but hit the painting of L'elangelus, By Leonardo DaBugosi......
The heel has lodged in the Angel's head...........I suppose it will have to be repaired (the painting also, as well)......

lelabugosi

I have just informed Mrs.Bugosi that there really is no need for her to keep her foot on the tree as it is cemented into the floor.........she has thrown her shoe at me...................it missed.........

buckeye425

Oh, how lovely! Such a heartwarming scene of domesticity.

Elfie

Indeed I think it would be even VERY kind of you!!!!

unclebluebottle

Can I get down from the tree yet?...........

lelabugosi

Well, Mrs.Bugosi doesn't really like to see images of herself.....as for uncle Adonis - he kept falling off the tree!.....(Gravity doesn't agree with him, you know...)

pdevredis

No ornaments with the fair countenance of Mrs. Bugosi? Or even uncle Adonis? Though I suppose his would have to be hung upside down...

lelabugosi

Yes, dancing-pecan......just a normal everyday home........
whatsits........I suppose I should really tell her that the tree has been cemented into the floor.....maybe before we retire to bed........

whatnauts

Hmm, this can hardly be relaxing for Mrs. Bugosi .......

jignut

Such a lovely scene.....could be a Rorman Nockwell painting!

lelabugosi

Juneee....Robbie helped with the 'tree logistics'....that is why Mrs.Bugosi sits under the up-down-sideways lighting, with her foot on the thing.......

lelabugosi

Well, only just now she was mumbling something about me paying more attention to the patercillar than to her...........of course I simply carried on studying my little furry friend, as it crawled into my left slipper........

juneshone

serene and beautiful, just as a home should be. uplighting, downlighting across liighting, have you had Robbie there with his expertise?

gemstone

Typical husband! :)))

lelabugosi

Well....she mumbles....but I understand her....(though sometimes I pretend I don't!)......

Elfie

Does Mrs. Bugosi never say anything or does she just talk through that scarf??

lelabugosi

Oooh......enjoy your Stilton/Port 'sampling'!..........
Mrs.Bugosi cannot move now until the tree comes down.....I suggest you suggest to Jenny that she do the same next year.......(without of course mentioning that I suggested the suggestion to you in the first place).....

Robbiel

Such a serene scene Lela, Mrs. Bugosi looks ravishing, you look dapper and the tree is decorated so thoughtfully. Your room is so tastefully decorated, I love the ceiling! We now reckon the tree fell over because of the water well drying out and a slight lean with most of the heavy decorations on one side. Still, a good idea having Mrs. Bugosi keeping watch over the tree. Enjoy your quiet evening together, I will be out sampling Stilton and port for 1, 2 or 6 hours!
