Thank you Ank ! I'm glad you like this one. I think it is just about three years old. If you go out the back of the building you are at the civic plaza across from the North Van City Library. I posted a picture of that side on 1 Dec.

Nice story, nice building and nice picture. I remember the old city hall (-50+ yrs ago) was on lower Lonsdale I think. :) I have so enjoyed your pictures!

Our mayor, Darrell Mussatto, used to work as a paramedic. During one of the formal city council meetings a man in the visitor's gallery had a serious medical problem. The mayor ran over and took care of him until the current paramedics arrived. He has been re-elected three times since that incident.
