They only make "veiled" comments? My dear John is much more vocal! (And, as much of the food is packaged, it's not like he couldn't just grab it himself! LOL
And with this really beautiful greeting card, that would be much bought in any stationary shop, I have reached the end of my morning. My family has come drifting by lately making veiled comments about what I was thinking to make for lunch today. LOL So I better get moving. It has been a very lovely morning looking at all your creations, and as far as I have seen there is still a long way to go and a great deal to see until I get to the bottom of this. :)))) Even though I have written a comment on most of it there is now way that I expect an answer to all of them LOL, that would take far too much time. I have enjoyed your creativity very much and it has been a lot of fun putting all these images together. :))
Love the colours and forms and the aged parchment effect sets it off very nicely. I can see the "window" card that Pat mentioned. However, prior to reading the other comments, I first saw the mosaic centre as an inset for a table. Very pretty and good job playing with shadowing, too!
Thanks so much, Pat! It's a pity we don't all get together for a cottage industry production of some sort. Wall art, cards, cloth designs, glass pieces, etc. We have the talent on Jigidi to do it all!
The deckle edge really does make it look like a greeting card, the kind that has a parchment overlay with a translucent "window" in it, over the regular card--I always love to send those, because they're so special looking! Lovely creation, Jan! :-)))
Beautiful, Jan. Would make a wonderful center for a mosaic patio too with matching stepping stones to the garden. Like your framing with the deckle edging casting shadows on the while base. Lovely, Jan. Thank you.
