Heidi is anything but cuddly. Can't pick her up, and she'll let you pet her only on her terms. When the door bell rings, she runs and hides. If she recognizes the voice she will come out from hiding.

Tuxedo cats seem to be more cuddly -- or maybe that's just my experience with my Tux and my daughter's Peet. Happy to meet you both.
