Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Happy Birthday to all the Jigidiers who have birthdays in July!! Rubies are YOUR birthstone.

I made these kaleidoscopes from freely available images of rubies, and use a variety of programs to make my kaleidoscopes, colour the backgrounds and assemble them into a collage. All of which takes around 2 hours. It gives me immense pleasure making them, and I hope it gives you pleasure solving them. (•‿•)

Your kaleidos are so fantastic. I especially like the whole middle row and the top right. 1:25:35. Thank you, Kirsten. Nice afternoon project. ((HUGS))

Happy birthday Janet!!! I can assure you it was a slow process emptying Jack's house - and there were three of house!! Funny you should mention this today. I've been out at my sister's place, for a family lunch - and we gave away a bunch of his pottery and artwork to all that came. Two boxes down, a multitude to go! Lucky we all have large garages and under the house spaces!! LOL But I have to say, I snorted when I read what you found. That would be a hilarious give-away to family. Corset anyone? LOL

And your wattle is out already? Ours hasn't made an appearance yet. But I'm looking forward to seeing it! We have some beautiful wattles in our garden. I have no idea what they are! But I really like them. (•‿•)

Hi Kirsten - thanks for the b'day present - oh how I wish they were real!! I would like to say I fell off the board, but never quite made it I'm afraid:)
Spent the weekend clearing M-I_L's flat - how you did a whole house staggers me! We have hardly made a dent it the job. Have discovered that she was a hoarder, bless her, 24 corsets/step-ins, 14 old handbags etc - all lovingly packed away, and what on earth am I going to do with a fur coat ??!!
Fed up with the weather, but the wattle is coming out, the narcissi are up (I think you call then jonquils) and the camellias are all flowering - so mustn't grumble!
Cheers Janet

Thanks Anne! I'm glad you enjoyed this one, and found some faves. I was saying to BarbaraL over on the small size, that I nearly jettisoned that bottom middle one. I was unconvinced that the pattern was well enough defined (see my comment to Gail below). But in the end, it edged its way into my heart - so I let it stay. LOL And now I'm really glad I did! I hope things are all good with you, my friend. (•‿•)

Oh, I'm so happy you like them Gail! I love how you love the centres. I try very hard for there to be lots of patterns in the centre - but at the same time, make sure that there is a balance in the definition of the patterns across the whole kaleido. Which is why it takes me so long to make kaleidos. Sometimes, as nice as the original image is, or the kaleido can look initially - it's got to have a good defined pattern. Or I won't keep it! I'm a tough judge! LOL (But not an artist. I'm a dabbler) (•‿•)

That's all I can ask for Pat!! And I'm so glad!! (•‿•)

Oh, Davon! You make me blush! I'm happy you think so, but I must object! I just make puzzles I would like to solve. So I think we must have the same taste in puzzles!! (•‿•)

I'm delighted you like this one so much, Nancy. And I hope all the July birthday folk do enjoy it. But I have to humbly reject the "artist" moniker. I think I'm a dabbler - who makes things she likes, and hopes that others will too. If they hit the mark with you, I'm very happy though! (•‿•)

A very pretty group of kaleidos Kirsten! My fave would be top right - always rubies and diamonds together - but also liked bottom middle which is so dainty and sweet. Thank you dear friend once again! :-0)

Gaillou

Wow! These are spectacular! I love the flower look of the petals on the lower left. The right top is wonderfully glittery. The surprise favorite was the top center. I also loved the details of the center one. As usual I really am drawn to the center images of all of these kaleidos. You are a master artist, Kirsten.

Love it ... Love it ...

davie

Yes! Kirsten is differently an artist.
