You are absolutely right PlumP! Mine lie. Its incredible the stories they tell and I can hardly keep from laughing. If I listened to them I would think they only got fed once every three days.
VM, we currently have four kitties. Our youngest one is 3 yrs and still has a sweet little bitty kittenish voice. When she starts begging, it's hard not to give in to her (or any of them, for that matter; we're total softies so long as whatever they want isn't harmful to them). ;-)
Bunny, I can tell you have a vast and loving knowledge of cats. That is what my cats say at least three times a day - even if there is food in their bowls.
"It's been at least an hour since I last ate. Look at me - nothin' but skin and bones! Oh, I feel faint. Fading fast! Did I mention how much I love you?"
