Yes, you're right! Cool!!! Thanks, Mandy!

I've found that you can close the bit about puzzle information... I clicked on the word "INFORMATION" and the whole section gets hidden... so that's another plus!! Thought I'd let you know since I had a moan about that earlier :~)))

Oh, I didn't know that about the private/public option--now that is an improvement! Otherwise, I agree about the new look, and the problems with navigating around the site. As usual, they took a few steps forward and a few steps back and a few off to the side as well! I keep putting off spending much time on it--I think I'm hoping that the bad parts will be changed before it becomes the only way to use it, but I know that won't really be the case... Maybe today I will have the mental energy to face it squarely--at least for longer than a few minutes at a time!

Lovely puzzle Pat. I'm having similar frustrations with the new Jigidi... when I've solved puzzles on it, it takes ages to find the puzzle again in order to leave a comment!! I'm probaby not clicking or scrolling in the right place at the right time, having menu bars at the top and at the bottom is really quite confusing, and I don't like all the information about the created puzzles being visible when all I want to do is reply to comments on those puzzles.... which I have to scroll down to do every time!!! One good thing I've found, is I can post my puzzles early... they will post as private and then at my "official" posting time all I need to do is to click the box and they become public... so I won't be struggling to upoad the and size and title them at my posting slot... will make life much easier for me!!!

Thanks sooooo much, Jan! It was a nice surprise to me that something I drew but then couldn't figure out how to complete, could turn into something this interesting just by duplicating it! So I will try to do it again, for sure!

To get to Favorites, you can click on the word "Puzzles" top left (choices then appear under that word), or go down to the bottom where, on the left, "By Favorites" is the fourth choice down under "Puzzles". I hate that! What was wrong with leaving it next to the choices for sizes and categories?!! And I wrote to them briefly the first day, but haven't heard back. I will definitely write again when I've finished exploring the new stuff--if I can force myself to do stay on that version!

Please, Please give your feedback to TPTB - maybe some of these things can be changed, still! I hate the comments the most. I supposed I will adjust to it. I must create a puzzle and see how that goes.

Pat, I LOVE, ADORE and want to beg for more of this style. It is very fun and optical illusion-ish! Plus, great colors and love all the linear elements. Wonderful!

Thanks, Katie, whatnauts, and Lela--I am one of the ones who hate it! But you're right, I'm going to have to learn to love it, because I'm going to be stuck with it...

I drew three columns of squares, 3/2/3, and then connected them like boxes. But I couldn't see where to go from there--it looked pretty when I colored it, but it was much too small for a puzzle, and just sort of sat there incoherently! So I used LunaPic to mirror and copy it, which was much better than trying to add more squares by hand--the pattern expanded and took shape without just getting more confusing with all sorts of extra lines. I'm glad you like it!

lelabugosi

Ah yes....thanks whatsits!.......

whatnauts

Lela, go to your profile page and you can turn it on.

lelabugosi

Me no like it much......more fiddling about......and VERY BIIIG!.......
I thought it said the timer was back, but I didn't see it.....am I missing something?.....

whatnauts

PD, this is fantastic. I love it.

buckeye, the 'new jigidi' is available only to the All Stars at the moment, but soon (eventually) it will be the only version. If the last 'new version' is any indication, there will be few or no changes before it is rolled out for the masses. Some of us like the new jigidi, including me :))))

buckeye425

Love the weird blocks Pat! Just FYI, there is no "new version" for those of us that aren't All Stars. I was going to get myself one, but now I'm a little bit afraid! One thing I have noticed is that puzzles load much, much slower.

pdevredis

I thought that comparison would be just right for us! :-)))

bookish

Thanks for your input - like your analogy. Did read Chrissie likes it.

pdevredis

Yes!!! I hate the new version! There are some added features that I do like, but, over all, I think that they took a LunaPic and turned it into a GIMP! I didn't have to learn how to navigate the current version--I'm still figuring our the new one. And I intensely dislike the way the puzzle looks in that big black box after you click on the thumbnail--and the red stars are ugly. And I find it harder to read when scrolling--they say it's clearer, but it isn't to me...

A3ana

Ik hou het bij de kleine puzzels dan kan ik er lekker veel maken
ook deze is erg leuk.

bookish

Don't like the new version so am not using it. Too many steps. Too much scrolling, even with a needed slight scrolling in order to see my time after solving a puzzle! Don't like the scrolling for reading comments. And now the font is huge with no option of my pushing the monitor further back.
Once, I actually posted the same puzzle four times, the first three times it became a private one only which I deleted. Then it dawned on me to read the lighter grey writing in order to continue. Not user-friendly.

pdevredis

Wow, thanks so much, Francine! :-)))))

Have you tried posting with the New Jigidi yet? I could have made my large one of this puzzle much bigger on it, but when I tried the other one I posted in 3 sizes today, it would only post much SMALLER on the new Jigidi... And I think there are fewer gradations in the New one--normally I have the option of both 42 and 49, for example, but the new one only gave me the 49--the next lowest was 35...

bookish

Pat, thanks for this great one. It's now one of my favourites.
