I had a beautiful kitty who looked a great deal like your Sapphire (as a matter of fact, I considered naming her Sapphire too!) but with more of the black/brown markings and deeper blue eyes. I lost her 4 yrs. ago, when she was 13, and I still miss her terribly. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I hope Luka is doing okay. My kitty really felt it when she lost her two "siblings" before she herself went. My heart goes out to you.
Thanks for your very kind comments, Kittystaff. My heart is still very raw and sore at the moment but I am going to find a new friend for the family in time. Sapphire's half-brother Luka is also very lost and despondent without her. I haven't heard of the Rainbow Bridge before but it sounds truely wonderful - I hope to find many unforgotten friends there one day. Thanks again for your empathy regarding our loss.
I am so sorry for your loss of your beautiful Sapphire. You may have heard of the Rainbow Bridge. Pets wait there for their reunion with their owners. In the meantime they frolic and play, have lovely naps and eat beautiful meals. You will eventually be reunited. In the meantime, when you are ready, add another pet to your life. The heart expands to take in another pet without dislodging the other. Again, I am sorry for your loss.
