I didn't think that for one minute Antagony and I'm sorry if my response caused you to think that . . . I knew before I typed it that it wasn't the word I was looking for . . . lol. Now you come to mention it though, 'string' is probably a better word anyway so perhaps my subconcious was trying to tell me something . . . maybe it'll creep intosome of these forums and take over the world . . . :D)
I am going to be signing out very shortly but before I do . . . no correct answer yet . . . night night . . .:D)
Barack Obama
Mitt Romney
.................................and not necessarily in that order!....................
AND not that the Pres. Election is foremost in Frog's mind!
Froggy, I wasn't trying to correct or discourage you; I actually prefer your term. It makes more sense in this environment as you can think of it as a 'string of comments'—whereas a 'thread of comments' sounds silly.
LOL Antagony . . . yes, I would normally call them threads but my mind has been going blank recently and I used the first word that came to mind that I knew had a similar meaning . . . thank you for reminding me of the word that I was looking for . . . :D) (At least you knew what I meant . . . lol) As for the bowl of mushy peas . . . sorry, but this is a pea free zone (glad I got the right spelling there or we could have been in trouble)
I'm afraid that no-one has come up with the correct answer yet but after all it is only picture 1. As this picture was only uploaded less than 2 hours ago I am leaving it to run until tomorrow . . . you've been getting too many aces recently and I am fast running out of new games . . . lol
I love your terminology for the comment streams, Froggy. I'm used to forums calling them 'threads' but I've never heard them called 'strings' before. :^)
This multiple guess thing . . . I do not expect you to delete your previous postings. All that I ask is that if you are going to make more than one guess on a single visit to the page please incorporate them onto the same posting. Of course if/when you return to the page just post your new guesses and don't worry about your previous postings . . . does that make sense?
(Thanks Tigress . . . I think you summed it up on the previous string)
Not just a puzzle, but a game as well. See if you can guess who the celebrity is. The face has been distorted and will be made clearer until a correct guess is given or I run out of photos . . . in which case I WIN!!! LOL
I hope to update the pictures at around 1pm and 10pm each day (UK time) and I will pop in from time to time to check on progress . . . have fun
Please feel free to make as many guesses as you want but if you are making multiple guesses at the same time could you please combine them to a single comment. This makes it easier for others to read through them and, more importantly, makes it easier for me to compile the incorrect list . . . thank you . . . :D)
