Hi Oddio -- just discovered this comment of yours -- sorry I didn't see it before!
Thank you! You're right -- this is the view when you walk down in the backyard. So nice that you have a river nearby, too! So now that it's several days since you got your tackle box out, -- did you go fishing???
Oh, my, PLG. You have this scene right close by, eh? I have returned to your photo several times, and finally decided to get out the old tackle box to see what in there is worth cleaning up. It's been toooo long! And we have a decent river running thru the middle of town!
Hi Yellowgal -- sorry I didn't get back here sooner. Ummm, good question. I think my favorite is called "Stillness Speaks." It was my introduction to him.
Laurajane, this is the Menominee River. The bluff side is Upper Michigan, and where I was standing is Wisconsin. This is where I live in Niagara, Wisconsin.
Patti, thanks for the info about Eckhart Tolle. I hadn't read any of hs books, so I looked him up online. Then I realized I'd seen him a few times on Oprah. Which of his books would you recommend as a newbie?
Me too, Yellowgal! Why are we so sure that we have to always think about what's next? (Eckhart Tolle is helpful along those lines. Have you read him?) Glad you liked the puzzle!
For me, never too many sunny days; this is a delightful scene, Patti. Sometimes it does take discipline for me to forget about planning dinner (for example), and just spend time daydreaming/ or not thinking at all ! :)))
Really nice photo, PLG. We'll fondly remember this in a few months when you guys are snowed in! We, on the other hand, will still probably be at 100 degrees all winter!!! Thanks for the jig.
