I found this snippet about Henden Manor Denise: 'C16 or earlier moated farmhouse, much restored. Main garden front of 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows. High pitched tiled roof with plastered, coved eaves soffit. 2 modern gabled dormers. Restored exposed timber framing with plaster filling. Modern leaded casements of many lights. Entrance front shows C19 gable ended right wing part brick, part tile hung; and modern extension, containing entrance in angle. Inside, exposed beams and late C16 wainscoting in 2 rooms. That above dining room inglenook has panels carved with initials and date 1577. 2 Tudor type stone fireplaces, the small upstairs one with carved spandrels'. The extension of the end is fairly modern. Thanks Denise...Sue
