A lot of truth, to that saying! i have to agree with it. I have seen it many times, small flakes, 6 hrs later 18 inches of snow!

Nellies

Lovely PGL. The big tree frames it nicely.

Pretty, very pretty. Our day was this shade too, but with rain and not snow.

I like the reason behind "little snow, big snow." I've never heard that before. I will watch this winter, IF we ever get any. ; )

snooker

Love the tree on the right.

eaglefeather

I'm with Shirley, I love this area. Thanks PLG:)

We have seen it green, we have seen it gold and now we are seeing it white, your changing landscape, Patti, each as lovely as the other, Many Thanks Patti.

Thank you, Chickie and Lyndee. :)

Not sure it is ALWAYS true, Lyndee, but it does tend to happen that way a lot.

lyndee

oooooh, I'll have to remember that PLG.

chickiemama

Oh, I hope you get a good amount for more of your wonderful pics!

The snow has started coming. And it's coming in little tiny flakes. My dad always quoted old native American saying, "Big snow, little snow; little snow, big snow." So when the flakes are tiny, it will accumulate into something big. But when the flakes are big, there won't be much accumulation.
