There are quite a few growing in our area Monica - so we see lots of purple patches!! They also come in a pale pink variety. Thanks.
Wow! I didn't realize that these were trees, how jealous your neighbors must be to see these in full bloom!
Thanks warbler - they put on a great show when in flower.
Gorgeous flowers and lucky you to have the trees! Thanks

O.M.G. If I were a flower and flowers could love each other, I'd be in love with this flower! L.O.L. Rob, if this is what you and your wife have in your garden, I would love to see pics of your whole garden! This flower is absolutely gorgeous, stunning really! And, it's my second favorite color! Thanks so much for sharing it with us...Monica
It's beautiful,thanks Rob
I'm not sure Shirley - they do well here though. They come from near Lismore so I don't think they'd get many frosts there either. I guess if you had a protected spot it would be OK.Thanks pg.
A great looking flower and I know we do not have them in the States. Great capture Rob.
Beautiful, Rob, I've been going to plant one, just wondering if they frost?
