May you have beautiful bluebirds, pretty flowers, bright sunshine and lots of love surrounding you on this day and in the coming year! You deserve the best.
;) I knew what you meant, Colin! I really hope that Clematis comes on this year. I just planted two of them last spring, and they did nothing, just looked really scrawny all of last year. They're hard to find around here.
ts, unfortunately, we don't have bluebirds in this part of paradise! We do have, however, have this same clematis (I inherited my taste for clematis from my Dad) in the back 40, along with lonicera japonica - japanese honeysuckle - an evergreen which fills the air with sweetness from spring through fall. (You have to curb its growth, though or - like an unruly teenager - it will run rampant!
Thanks, Colin, Chickie loves these birds, and just last year she turned me on to Clematis, so I hope to have beautiful blooms like this soon! Glad you like the jig.
No, Laurajane, we don't get Eastern bluebirds here, but I wish we did, they're so pretty. I just started loving Clematis last year and Chickie has been my mentor (much to her dismay with all the fool questions I ask!). Since I found they grow here, I ran right out and bought two but they're still babies yet. RR, I agree, and you're most welcome.
Happy Birthday chickie - on the correct day!! - & keep up the wonderful photos. We really appreciate the effort!! Thanks tex for a wonderful puzzle & very succinct words.
Thanks, friends, and you're most welcome, Chickie! See how much you're loved? My wish for you came true, you really are surrounded by love, even if it's across the miles!
