From the outside this mine looks very well kept but ordinary. It has been closed for 10 years. Over 200 meters below ground it holds an astonishing secret. This is the Salt mine that became an art gallery, Cathedral and under ground lake. (More pictures to follow. My son sent me these, and the series is amazing)

With the pictures you posted, I had to look up the Salt Mine. All I can say is Wow! There are some wonderful things the miners did, and I am glad they are being preserved. Thank you for posting some of them and for the interest it has caused in me to want to learn more. 0829-Naoma
