Thanks, PJ, I was in Norway for only 3 days and the scenery there is spectacular! I'm always sorry I didn't get back there for a longer visit. :-)

Barb - what a wonderful idea. I've never visited Canada - but I'm impressed by the Canadian scenery; mountains, forests, rivers.......

I'm exactly the same, Edie. Used to love travelling but those days are long gone. Nothing like home sweet home. :-)

My daughter in law is from Victoria and I know she loved it there and my daughter went for a week two years ago and sent some nice pictures. I posted some. The only reason that I even made it to the east coast is because I had an aunt and uncle in PEI. I'm not much of a traveller any more. Like to stay close to home.

tigress

It's a huge country, Katie, with many lovely areas. :-)

It sounds like there are many interesting places to visit in Canada. Thanks Barb!

Edie, I made it out to Vancouver twice (during which time I also saw Victoria - very pretty city) and actually lived in Winnipeg as a child before moving to Toronto (guess that would be ages 6 - 11). I've been in St John's and Halifax but as I say, not to PEI or NB. :-)

I've been in Canada for over 50 years but still haven't made it to the west coast. Never got farther than Lake Louise but I did have a nice vacation touring PEI, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Thanks Barb

I'm very happy to bring back memories of your visits to Canada, Ardy. My brother, sister in law, one niece and a nephew & his family all live in St John's, Newfoundland. Another niece and her family live in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area. The only 2 provinces I've never visited are PEI and New Brunswick and here you are having visited both. :-))

I've been to that foxy part twice. Have driven the Trans-Canada Highway from Port-aux-Basques to St. John's. Stayed at Terra Nova National Park. Drove from Corner Brook to St. Anthony. Lovely part of the world. I've spend several vacation on PEI. Have seen a lot of New Brunswick and some of Quebec. Been around the Gaspe at least twice. Went to Expo 67 in Montreal. But I've been no farther west. Used to want to drive the Trans-Canada all the way to the west coast.

Now look at what your puzzle did to me - unleashed a whole book full of delightful memories. Thanks, Barb.

Not really my design, Catherine, this is an actual map of Canada recoloured by me. :-))
The foxy part is where many of my relatives live. :-)

contomiani

Interesting design Barb, thanks..the bottom right part reminds me of a fox!
