Now, I positively hate moths - have an in-built fear and phobia of them and I have no idea where it comes from - but I have to make an exception with this gorgeous fella! Even his body is amazing. I wouldn't want to be too close to him, and I certainly wouldn't want to share a room with him, but he is beautiful and amazing! Thanks for posting this fantastic shot.

It looks like a snake's head on the right (part of its wing). See the eyes and mouth? That's enough to scare away any predator.

Looks like a lot of wing for such a small body. Beautiful colors......even though it is a moth!
