Hiya, Maggie. It was a very tough jig. I bet you had a busy Christmas and New Year with new additions to the family. It's a wonder you finished the puzzle. I haven't heard "butty" since I lived in South Wales. LOL
Didn't think I would get anywhere near the leader board. Well I never take this long to polish off a plate of spaghetti John. Never felt like giving up at all. HAPPY NEW YEAR BUTTY!!!
Hi, Aishah. Your time should be fairly close to mine so see what you can do. I'm going to try to finish "spaced out" today!! Good luck and Good New Year's Eve!!
5:17:38 and halfway. John, you are a master when it comes to creating a challenge. And dont think I didn't see that new 540 piece one you posted earlier today.
Ah, I always wondered about the name, too, and now I know--and a fascinating tale it is, too! My cat, Beau, is also a slasher (and a biter), but not just when you mess with him. He can be purring away as you pet him, then the very next second decide he's had enough. If you don't intuit that and immediately remove your hand, he will try very hard to remove it for you......surgically!
Thank you Suzanne...It was on the tip of my tongue... I wish they would bring them back to the program schedule... Now, I can tape (opps...) "record" them. How quickly language (us, too...) changes... Ahhhhhhh...... Oh John!... that cat was the nicest, most independent.. patient, warmhearted, fluffy beige/tan character one could ever want in a cat... except when you (Roy) messed with him. I, of course, did not mess with him... I learned quickly... Roy ? ? ? ? ?
Hi John... thought no one would ever ask LOL... I used to watch old Japanese samurai movies (1940) by a famous director (whose name I now forget !! ah, old age creep).. There were a series of about 4 or 6. His main character was of a very kind, blind samurai, who was the fastest swordsman in the land. And, we had a beautiful, wonderful, amazing, cat for 18 years, whose name was Squeaker (because he squeaked when you touched him). Now, our cat Squeaker, had his front claws. And, these claws were very, very sharp! Well, if you messed with him (which my husband did all the time) he would lash out and slice and dice you before you knew it. So... when I was looking for a username Roy suggested Zatoichicat... Have a wonderful New Year.. on to another monster...
Merry Christmas Everyone! Thank you John... Really had fun doing this one., Now, I have to figure out how to print it, in order to solve it. I love solving mazes. Great present. Question... how can there be seven solves... and only five on the ladder? Hummm.... I finally figured out that in order to get on the ladder (i.e. play with the big kids) I'd have be be one of the first few to solve the puzzle(s) Yahoo,,,, ROTFL I do a lot of that here on Jigidi.... Have a great Holiday Season... Roy and Barbara
1:02:59, and 26%. All that means is that I have the frame done and a few pieces in it; there is no way that I am 1/4 finished time-wise!!!
I posted one for you, in case you need a break from (almost all) dark colors and complicated squiggles. I'm sure it will be easier than this, if you ever feel like trying it. So far, it's had no takers--unless they're all still working on it...! LOL! Merry Christmas, John!
Thanks John, it's really too much!! What a present!! I think I'll concentrate about "Complicated" instead - good luck to all of you who throw yourself out into this experiment!! Merry Christmas to you and Layla!!
I haven't heard from you for a while, Aishaj. I was thinking that you had gone away for Christmas. I hope that you are OK, healthwise. Enjoy your Christmas.
Love the pesky mosquito analogy--yes, that's just about as easy to ignore! LOL!
Yes, my (local) family will all come over, daughter and SIL, son and DIL and grandson. Just wish my California daughter and grandson could make it, too... Well, I'm thankful to have what I do have!!!
I knew that you would be pleased with the present, pd. It should keep us occupied for a while!! LOL
I like the picture of your mobile carpets (dogs). Lovely!! I'm sure we will speak before Christmas day but, if not, have a lovely time. Will your newly married daughter and SIL be with you?
Gee, wow, hooray, yippee--just what I wanted!!!! How did you guess?!!!
Holy Hannah, this is a-maze-ing--and promises to be the gift that keeps on giving--right into the New Year! Thanks, John, and a Merry Christmas to you!
