Thank you, Sue. I like watching snow falling from the window of the comfortable warm room. LOL
I like to look at snow, but don't enjoy it much in person...which is why I live in Florida and not up north. We have had snow here 3 times that I am aware of. Have a great week.
Hi, Sue. You, Libby and Jo are still among top tens!! Japan has been attacked by a big cold air mass and even here, very warm area, we had a little snow. I enjoyed seeing mountains covered with a very thin snow veil. So beautiful. It is rare we have snow in December. Too cold, but cannot help loving snow! You lived in Florida. I guess you love snow. Thank you, Sue. I will visit you now.
WOW! Your messages encouraged me most to try. I meant on the floor, but it does need not. It's a good idea on the sofa or bed. First making small ones then putting them together again... Any rate I am a person who can not throw away old cloth or fabric. Unless I manage to do anything with them, my house will be kept on shrinking each day. Our clothes, our daughters', and very old ones I buy... I feel like making one very much. First, one piece! Hope I will not lose my enthusiasm now. Thank you for your good advice. Have a nice jigii time, Jo.
Wildly different, thanks Sachi. 1:36. I loved the turquoise of course. I should try to find some more amber and cobalt blue ones to post for you. Oh Jo, I see you have dropped to 6th, but still hanging there. 127 solves now. Hope you had a good weekend, Sachi, dear.
That sounds like a great idea Sachi, and a wonderful way to re-use the sweaters!! A good idea to make a small one first. If you don't like it you can easily take it apart. If you like it, you could always add to it and make it a little larger!! When you say rug, do you mean to use on the floor? Some people say rug, and mean a cover for a sofa, or a bed. A rug to me is on the floor, to walk on. Hope you find time to try it out!! Take your time and enjoy the experment!! No stress!! lol! :)
Aalways thank you. "Crazy Quilt" ! I love it. I ever made a crazy quilt bag. I am thinking to make a rug of used wool sweaters like crazy quilt. But it is a big one I am now thinking, so it is difficult to find a place matching up. I should start to make a small one. When it is finished, I will make a puzzle. Look forward to, but I do not know when it is. LOL Have a nice jigi time.
Wow!! 38 solves, and I just popped up #1!! A FIRST FOR ME!! O.K. back to your beautiful creation!! "Patchwork quilt"?!! Very folk-art looking! Or some would have it called a "Crazy Quilt"! They called it that, because the women would sew the quilts using up all the left over scraps of material, not wasting anything! But no definate pattern to the quilt when finished! Just lovely, thankyou!! :)
