Then it is no coincidence one of the golds used here is known as Aztec gold :-) Thanks, Francine.
Chrissie, when I initially espied this colourful 'turtle', my thoughts were more about gold and the Aztec culture. Thanks for this lovely and fun one. (3:45)
Doubt that... more likely you have the attention span of a gnat so that's why you wouldn't try that many times :-)
I would need an eye transplant if I tried it that many time.
Thank you, PG. A month isn't so bad... took me about that long the first time I did it :-) It took three solves to get on the board!
Only because I have a friend as dear as you who found the new 'foxy' :-) Thanks, Snooker.
Very nice your Arctic foxness. time about a month on this one.
You look great in your new winter coat with your Santa hat, Foxy.
Robbie, I'm surprised you didn't see a circus elephant riding a unicyle, blowing a trumpet while juggling 15 beer bottles in one hand and 3 running chain saws in the other. That's about as imaginative as I can be in imitation of you :-) Brass and enamel work for me though :-)) Thanks, mate.
Thanks, whattie. Just as well being a TP fan is not a pre-req to enjoying this puzzle :-)
Thanks, Mr O - you have good vision... it does resemble a headdress!
I see the turtle quite clearly and the headdress Foxy. Beautifully done, looks almost like a brass and enamel sculpture. Thanks.
I'm not a Pratchett fan, but this puzzle is wonderful. Thanks foxy.
Another fun one, Foxy. I see an overhead view of a colorful Native American headdress.
Thanks, Jiggy. It's a turtle in the eyes of Terry Pratchett fans :-)
Patti, I didn't realise it was going to be a turtle when I first started making it. It sort of grew and I tweaked a few lines here and there and I saw the turtle... with a faintly tenuous connection to Michaelangelo who saw the angel in the marble :-)
Shirley, my dear friend, if Snooker has been into your jar of Vegemite then I'm the Queen of Sheba! I happen to know she dislikes The Big V with a passion :-) Typical TP quote too! The bloke is extra funny and clever with it.
You're saying that just to make me feel better 'cos you beat me all to heck and back, Snooker :-) I think you'd enjoy reading the Discworld stories, mate!
Sadly the elephants wouldn't all fit in a puzzle this size, Mimi so I gave them a day off :-) Hooray for TP indeed! He has amused and entertained thousands of us :-)
If it IS a turtle it has a wonderfully faceted shell! Love the colors and the 3D effects. Thanks, Chrissie!3:25
Beautiful! Didn't realize it was a turtle till I read the comments! Very cool! Thanks, Foxy!
I think snooker's been into my jar of Vegemite ! Beautiful Turtle, Thanks Chrissie. :):) love Terry Pratchett Quote's, "Stories of imagination tend to upset those without one"
OK, I had to google this one to see what you were talking about. Had to do the puzzle quickly to have time to google. Beautiful turtle.
But where are the elephants? Shouldn't there be elephants upon the back of a great turtle like this????????? Wonderful, beautiful puzzle, and hooray for T.P.
