PJ - welcome - at least you could still enjoy these firewords after the event. Thank you for visiting. :~)
Ok. I'm late to the 'party'. Mandy, this was so fun and the puzzle is beautifully composed, filled with a variety of fun figures. I remember reading about Guy Fawkes Day in British history classes - and in several historic novels. Glad you posted this puzzle!
Thanks Dagmar, I must confess this is the closest I got to fireworks last night myself!! I'm glad you enjoyed them - you are so right, some of them could easily be mistaken for snowflaked!! :~)
This must have been a memorable firework, I would have love to watch it yesterday night. :)) Although when I first looked at it before reading the title I also thought about beautiful snowflakes. A beautiful image. :))
LOL - JB, I frequently look things up on Wiki - it's amazing how much learning takes place on Jigidi!!! Glad you've had fun as well as education :~)
I only vaguely knew about Guy Fawkes. So I went on Wiki! It's a fascinating piece of history!
Thanks so much for this puzzle!
So pleased you enjoyed them, whatnauts, it's nice to see your star on the board, thanks.
Great fireworks. Thanks.
Glad you liked it, pkin.
I'm pleased I've brought back memories, gemstone. Thanks for stopping to comment.
I also remember "A penny for the Guy," from the Paddington books.
Good one thanks
Thanks Barb, I'm glad you enjoyed them.
Hi Wendy, I think so too
Lela - they're magic silent fireworks.... I know better than to frighten spiders!!!
Wendy, I hope the magic still worked so far away???
Lucky has the pillow over her head so that she can't hear the fireworks.
Hope they didn't frighten the spiders!...
Mandy! This is BEAUTIFUL!
Love the fireworks, Mandy! :-)
Gosh I turn my back for a moment and I miss lots of visitors!!
Thank you potatomum66 (I'd love to learn about your choice of name!!) - I wondered if anyone still up this late would know its GF Day!!
Kirsten, thanks for commenting; the title is the first line of a rhyme we're taught at school in the UK!!!!
Bookish, I'm glad you visited and enjoyed your stay, thanks.
This was great. Thanks.
This one is certainly memorable!! Thanks Mandy. :)))
Guy Fawkes Day!!
