If you go to B&H photo and look under graduated neutral density filters you can see how they work and this is the size you need. They come in several densities and since you are not going to be doing this all the time get the 2 stop one which is a good middle of the road filter. Hope this helps.

Morris this is a circular polarizer which is used to remove reflections and make the sky bluer. If you look through the camera as you turn the filter you can see the sky change the blues come out and the reflections vanish. You can look through it without being on the camera but it is not the same as a split neutral density filter and if you camera uses a 58 mm filter you need a 58mm ND filter. I will look up the filter and post it for you.
Very nice thank you sir. I was looking up the graduated filter glass. It looks like they start at $139.00. My Camera was only $80.00. Would I need to upgrade the camera? I have a fugifilm jx 310. Thanks for your help!
We could never spoil Morris Gracie.
Thank you Patti.
Yes Chickster this opens up the darker areas and depending on the density of the filter, they come in several stop increments, you can get the look you want.
Pat it depends on where your mid price range is. e-mail me.
