I know you are a very busy man but did we forget??
Thank you Nellies and if I did it would be a very small one. What I know will fill a book but what I don't know will fill a library.
Another excellent photo photogent! Now I know why your photos are so good...you almost wrote the book! I don't even know what questions to ask.
Thank you, sir!
If you go to B&H photo and look under graduated neutral density filters you can see how they work and this is the size you need. They come in several densities and since you are not going to be doing this all the time get the 2 stop one which is a good middle of the road filter. Hope this helps.

Thank you, pg. I really appreciate it! I know nothing about photography and would hate to buy the wrong thing.
Morris this is a circular polarizer which is used to remove reflections and make the sky bluer. If you look through the camera as you turn the filter you can see the sky change the blues come out and the reflections vanish. You can look through it without being on the camera but it is not the same as a split neutral density filter and if you camera uses a 58 mm filter you need a 58mm ND filter. I will look up the filter and post it for you.
Would something like this work?
Morris all you need is a glass filter a little large then the diameter of your lens and any camera will do the job.
Very nice thank you sir. I was looking up the graduated filter glass. It looks like they start at $139.00. My Camera was only $80.00. Would I need to upgrade the camera? I have a fugifilm jx 310. Thanks for your help!
I changed my address because I was having so much trouble with AT&T and lost everything. I will get it to you.
Sorry Charlie, and just where did you have in mind for me to e-mail you???
Lovely Church, thank you . Good Picture !
We could never spoil Morris Gracie.
Thank you Patti.
Yes Chickster this opens up the darker areas and depending on the density of the filter, they come in several stop increments, you can get the look you want.
Pat it depends on where your mid price range is. e-mail me.
Awesome .... I do need to ask a you what camera do you recomend. Med price range.
A beautiful shot! So the dark part of the filter was in the light area so that this side of the church doesn't look too dark?
Nice, PG! Thank you!
Morris is getting spoil today, let's hope it doesn't go to his head! nice pic PG
