Hello Hester, I somehow missed you yesterday night when I answered comments or you did the puzzle just after my being here.

I just googled deck quoits as I didn't know the word and it seems that I have been playing it for years with my children without knowing the proper name LOL.

The storks are still here, Hester. You can see them everywhere. Nearly every church has at least one pair and there are churches that have twenty pairs nesting on their roofs. In the village we only have our very own pair and it nests on a chimney of one of the houses. The owner doesn't seem to mind and there they have been for seven years now. It is nice hear their bills clattering every time one of them comes back to the nest. :))

Or this could be the result of a frustrating game of deck quoits! A simple game but fun though not one for the Olympics, I think! Thanks for this ;-)

And I remember the wonderful sight of those storks on the roofs and steeples of Segovia and La Granja. Happy days! :-))

I've also noticed that the days are slowly getting longer and in my patios the crocus are starting to bud and the storks have already come back so spring is just a little while away - and still no snow !!!! I don't want winter in May. It's good to know that you have some sun at least to cheer you up but don't rush to too much work. Enjoy the lazy grey days of winter before the garden and all the other chores demand your attention. :))

Hello Ardy after all your exercising on the bike I'm sure you are ready for the Olympics, my bike is still waiting for some exercise LOL. Thanks for the link, I've seen the puzzle Ardy. :)) I hope that your day wasn't too cold and that you are looking forward to a sunny weekend. :))

Dohun

Good to know that you are ready for the Olympics now, I'm afraid that even after drawing them I don't feel a bit fitter than before. I don't think I would make a good figure at the Olympics LOL.

Dohun

I suppose that most of us automatically think of the Olympic rings when they see rings of many colour :)) glad you enjoyed them all mixed up. Thanks for your visit and have a wonderful and not too cold weekend. :))

You are not the only one addicted to symmetry, I always have to oblige myself to to look the other way and let things fall as they want LOL. You have become very good at layers and drop shadows yourself :)) and I'm happy that you liked mine. I hope that your new and last working day of the week will be over in a blink and that your weekend won't be too hot. :))

Enjoyed this one Dagmar. I'm sitting here watching the sky turn to blue and thinking there are other things that I should be doing. No snow for the next few days but still quite cold. The days are getting longer but the temperatures are not co-operating. Thanks, hope you're having an easy day, week, month.....

Good afternoon, Dagmar, although by the time you read this it will probably be evening. Lovely rings to help us get ready for the Olympics. Thanks for a fun puzzle. You may want to see this:

That was a lot of fun, Dagmar. You really can't enjoy the background until you see the finished result. Thanks for this little beauty. I'm ready for the Olympics now.

The first thing I thought of when I saw these were the Olympic Games. Love these crazy mixed up and very colourful rings, Dagmar. Thank you. :-))

Oooh - the layers and the shadows are wonderful Dagmar! And you know whenever I enjoy a puzzle like this so much, I think I need to give up my addiction to symmetry. Lack of symmetry is such fun! LOL Thanks!! And have a wonderful Thursday. (•‿•)

We had the same idea, Gail, I'm still listening to the Circle Game after solving your lovely puzzle and now I must run a usual. Thanks for a good start into my morning and I'm happy to know that you liked my mixed up Olympic rings. :))

Hi Dagmar, our puzzles are mixed together today. Looks like gorgeous Olympic rings. I'm bookmarking it until I finish looking through the day's puzzles. Thanks, and hope you're well.
