WOW! An actual Mathew Brady photograph of Civil War soldiers who somehow managed to down a pterodactyl ..... a feat of marksmanship in itself, and an event I hadn't known had ever been accomplished. Who were these anonymous nimrods? How many soldiers did they feed with this one proto-bird? Who broke the wishbone? So many questions!
