Libby - thanks so very much!! Rosie - if you buy a costume, you must send me a photo and any other photos of what sounds to be a fabulous wedding and wedding party! Tell him congratulations from me! Thanks so much!
I had never heard of Steampunk until about a month ago. My son and his partner, now that it is legal to marry in Mn., are planning a big wedding next Sept. The theme is Steampunk and they are having their outfits made and all of the guests are to wear brown and they would like it if their guests come dressed in the clothes of the era. My son said---Dr. Who and I got it right away. There are many sites on the web that sell Steampunk costumes---I've been looking---and actually think I might just have to buy one of the costumes. They are really fun. Now you post a hat and earlier I saw a puzzle of a laptop computer and javasage said it belonged in Joyce's office---it's Steampunk. That's why she thinks this is way cool!!!
Wayyyyyy cool! Thank you! ;-)))
Lindsay, we must all be educated! thank you so much!!!Hester - glad you liked it! Thanks.
Thanks for the "heads up", LindZer! :-)
Steampunk, when applied to fashion, is the combination of the Victorian Era and the Industrial Revolution. Its described as 'what the past would look like if the future had happened sooner.' I'm a fan of this style as an art form. Great Hat Jan! Thanks.
No idea what Steampunk is but this certainly is the Mad Hatter's fabulous headgear. Love it, Jan :-)
I do not really understand Steampunk. But, this hat is marvelous. For some reason I thought of the White Rabbit. Thanks so much Gracie and Ardy!!
This one made me smile, Jan. Love the framing too. Thanks.
