Interesting about the sand building up and giving you a beach. Love this venue.....everything about it. Good idea to make your boat good & heavy! Thanks, Robbie.
Yes TC, come on down! Thanks.
Thanks Shirley, PLG and PK.
Just Jacques Rob, thanks.
Thanks Tex, lajuin and Hanne. I pull it up alongside the house and fill with water.
Thanks chickie, when dad bought this land 32 years ago this was all mud in front. One of the hurricanes about 12 years ago brought the sand over and built the beach. More sand has come over the years and keeps building up....we cannot believe our luck!
Hi bookish, hard to comprehend that from here! Thanks.
You're right about lazy Jacques, but not in the hammock......in front of JIGIDI!! Thanks mate.
Jimbos I am so sorry to see and hear that. Like chookies we saw it on BBC. Good luck to all of you, thanks.
Ditto chookies.
Hi gem, those Geraniums are sure hardy plants! Thanks.
Hi Graci, thanks.
See the water in the boat? When Sandy hit the east coast the tide came up to the end of the concrete slip and seaweed was piled on the grass. We are roughly 800 miles from New York so you can imagine the power from that storm!
