Coldbrew and Rosewood, we are all the guilty parties. This floating garbage dump is THE SIZE OF TEXAS. It is mostly plastic. Where are we going to put it? Jan, even the tsunami debris is smaller than this. Thanks friends.

So why don't they take a big whaling vessel or something with a similar open end out there, and start scooping this mess up!?!

When I first heard about this, I was absolutely stunned. What a disaster! Add to that all the debris from the tsunami and I am sure it is exponentially larger!!! Disgraceful! Thanks for posting, Cheryl.
