Why are you reporting this puzzle?

Happy birthday dear Mariasha!! My apologies for the lateness of this birthday puzzle. But think of it as being more of a birthday festival than a birthday day!! LOL I hope you had a wonderful day – spent with people you love and who love you, sharing good food, wine and laughs.

The kaleidos in this puzzle were made from freely available images of coleus, and I use a variety of programs to make my puzzles. This one took a ridiculously long time to make - but it gives me immense pleasure making puzzles. And I hope it gives you pleasure solving them. (•‿•)

They were probably a bit too subtle really. I should have made them bigger. I was trying to keep them within some semblance of true size, from memory. ((HUGS))

I didn't notice your cute little bugs nor your spider "BOO" before the solve was complete. Thanks. 57:31 ((HUGS))

That ALWAYS happens to me too, Gail! I'm so happy you enjoyed this one. (•‿•)

LOL. I hadn't read your description before I solved the puzzle and I was about to say it looked like coleus. Nice puzzle and lots of fun. Thanks, Kirsten.

Sorry I missed you last night Janet. My sisters and I spent the day at my father's house, preparing it for sale. We put in a huge day. But you can see our work. It looks AMAZING! I described it as a hovel before. But now it's looking more than liveable. It's amazing what new paint, carpet and curtains can do. Oh, and loads of cleaning! But after all of that work, I was so tired I conked out after replying to comments.

To your son, I would say "there's no such thing as woman's work" in this house! LOL And that's even more amazing about your Mother-in-law. My partner's grandmother made 101, and we though that was pretty good!

GoldenCat

You have hit the nail on the head - almost anything is better than dusting & vacuuming etc!! During a party chat re housework & dusting, one of our sons said "Dusting - you will have to explain that concept to Mother"!
Cheers & goodnight!
Janet
PS Mum-in-Law will be 103 in May!!

Oh LOL, Janet! Of course, I was just being a bit silly. Something I am wont to do!! And can I just say that 96 is a fine age for your mum! I lost my dad in late 2012 at age 82 (4 days off his 83rd birthday), and it seemed much too early. And I find perceiving age here on Jigidi a difficult thing. I would never have picked you for 70. I'm 52, and I was sure that you were around my age!

And I didn't know you were into the fiendishly large puzzles! I see that they are often referred to as "monsters', but in an affectionate way. They have quite a following from the comments that I've seen around the traps.

And I think I would rather work and be able to pay someone to do housework and gardening, than do it myself. Life's too short for cleaning dunnys! LOL

GoldenCat

Hi Kirsten - I have spoken to my Mother (who is 96) and she says that at 70, I am quite old enough to write my own notes!! I know I have been neglecting you, but I was hung up for ages with a fiendish Tugman puzzle, and of course I always have to do the super size ones from Dagmar :) We keep saying that we are going to retire, but as we don't like housework or gardening, work seems a good option!!

Well there you are! Do you have note from your mum, young lady, to explain your absence? LOL And yep, no flu here. I have an annual flu shot - and will be having my next one this week. One of the best decisions I've made I reckon. It's been a looooong time since I've had true flu. I hope you've avoided the current strain though. And I agree about our weather. I'd take our hot summer, inclusive of the odd day over 40, any day over -27 days!

And me too re the long week-end. Although I have a lot on my plate at the moment. We are selling my dad's house, and I have to buy a new car amongst a million other things. But having an extra day off, should net me a bit more Jigidi time! Yay! Hope you have fun too! (•‿•)

GoldenCat

Thanks Kirsten - what a marvellous design, it was really nice to do & looks even better when finished!! Hope you are well & avoiding this awful flu that is going round, sad to think we are heading into winter again, but then it never gets really cold, when I read some of the comment from people in Canada & similar, I really wonder how they survive. I'm looking forward to the long weekend - lots of Jigidi time :))

Awww. Thanks Davon! And I've been meaning to say. You're looking very cute there! (•‿•)

RandomWorship

Why, thank you kapuna! I'm delighted you like it, and very much appreciate you letting me know. (•‿•)

And welcome to Jigidi! (•‿•)

davie

Yes, now that I worked it, I can see why it took so long, just in the shaping of the leaves. I also appreciated the whimsical bugs. Thanks Kirsten. AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIASHA!

I do like this one

RandomWorship

Yup! That's why you love the extra large ones, Davon! 'Cos they're a challenge! Hope you enjoy it. (•‿•)

Another clever creation that will take me way too long to solve.
