Yes indeed Roseheather, these are black headed gulls and herring gulls.
I took a lot of pictures but most of them are too tangled? confused? meaning that there were too many gulls close together to get a good image. I chose the two best ones:))

The birds that are landing, are they gulls? Lovely capture of their arrival. ; )
