Klokkenstoel. Belfry. Of course this is not a tower. But I can't translate the word. If I translate Klokken-stoel, it will be bells-chair.
In the past when they built a Church there was not always enough money for a tower. then they built this for the bell.

Very nice. Thanks Ank.

Interesting! I love the bell! Thank you Ank!

Thanks Cathy and Talia. It's a nice word indeed. Instead of tower we use chair. When we say tower (toren) we mean something high. And this isn't.

An original "clocktower". Ank thanks for posting it.

This is a great picture! Thank you Ank. And I love the word klokkenstoel.

Thanks Shirley and Tek. It's nice. Tek thanks for the word. I don't like it if I can't translate something, so I'm glad to know.

Elfie

A fine solution really!! Thanks so very much Ank!!

tekchal

The word you're looking for is bell tower. It doesn't matter, of course. Either way it's a very nice puzzle.

This is beautiful, Ank, a lovely old bell in it's shelter or housing, I love it, Thank you, Ank.

Girls I'm glad you like it, it's a good solution indeed. So in Dutch we call it a "Klokkenstoel", do you know a English name for it? Have a nice day my friends. Hugs :-))))))

bentleyd

Lovely idea Ank:-))
Like this one a lot
HUGS:-)))

goingsilver

An ideal solution if the Church hasn't got a bell tower, and better than no bell at all.
