Glad you recognized these, Cevas... Sometimes they're easy, sometimes they're not :-)

cevas

Oh good!! It's been ages since I actually recognized the group in your Remember puzzles. I loved The Mamas and the Papas! Thank you Starlord.

starlord

That's a fair deal... Looking forward to it :-)

starlord

Good morning Aggie :-)
Especially for the US and Canadian citizens, I'll post another do you remember later today under account Starlord2. Check it out.

bentleyd

Thanks aggie:-) Easy one for a change:-))

starlord

Okay, ninjette it will be then.
Ninjesse sounded more French anyway

squishy2

Best to remain silent... actually ninjette sounds better to me. Remember Joan Jett? She was a ninja too...

starlord

How do they call a female ninja? A ninjesse?

squishy2

Ninjas can grow old, Starlord. The lucky ones that is.

starlord

Am I missing something, Squish? Arthritic hand and trained ninja? One of them is surely a lie :-) I think you really are a trained ninja :-))))
Thanks for filling us in, Major D. With 12 seconds on the board, Lady C said: I was here, but I'm in a hurry :-)

starlord

Way too easy for Lady C this was :-)

squishy2

I get nowhere near the leaderboard these days - stone age mouse - and arthritic hand (forgot about that!)

starlord

Morning Major D. Thanks for the info. :-)
Come oooon, Squishy. Didn't I tell you it would be ever so easy today? :-) Tomorrow another easy one and then I'll strike back :-)
Doesn't matter Bent. You got this one. But you beating Tweegan was a matter of seconds :-)

bentleyd

Most probably squish:-))
Its good to sleep in sometimes:-))
I only get the easy ones very seldom:-(((

squishy2

Well done, bent. I've only just got up. Do you think Starlord is lulling us into a false sense of security? Maybe the puzzles next week will be 10stars hard ;-))))

MajorDon

Yes Starlord - John Phillips (1935?2001), Denny Doherty (1940?2007), Cass Elliot (1941?1974), and Michelle Phillips née Gilliam (b. 1944). Big feature in the Sunday Times after Denny died - lot of tension in the group as soon as they became successful. I thought John's voice was excellent. Good morning everyone. :)

Sissel

I will sing it for him today but he mostly knows danish songs :-)

starlord

I bet even Elliot knew this one :-)

bentleyd

lol not quite:-) In fact I overslept this morning and 5 pets were waiting to be fed.
Did not want to miss an easy one:-))))

Sissel

Yes and I played with Elliot untill I gave him 20 min of tv to look for your dayli show - have a great weekend :-)

starlord

Look at the time it was posted, Sissel.
Then look at the time Bent came up with the answer.... seconds later.... :-)
She stayed up all night, waiting for the puzzle :-)

Sissel

Too late - this I knew and then :-)))))))

starlord

Really Major? I didn't know the other three passed away. I knew about mama Cass though.
It's a nice song, Ulangariver. Lots of great songs with flutes. I like panflute :-)

bentleyd

Thanks major :-))

ulangariver

California Dreaming - best sounding flute I ever heard.

starlord

Told you it would be ever so easy today.
Congratulations to Bentley and Tweegan (comments crossed).
Bet you knew it Major D :-)
Their greatest hit (over here that is) was Monday Monday... and then there was 'California Dreaming' and 'Dream a little dream', like Tweegan says.

MajorDon

well done bentleyd - just Michelle in the front left now

Tweegan2

Mamas & Papas many moons ago. Dream a Little Dream ...

bentleyd

Mammas and the pappas?
