Thank you, Mo. What lovely memories you evoked with this one. I'd quite forgotten the round sewing basket I had many years ago. I can't remember what happened to it! Maybe it fell apart from lack of use LOL.

You are right Carol, do they even teach that in school anymore? I use to marvel at my mother's, she had a nice large one which I'm now fortunate enough to have inherited but I had one like the one on the bottom row, second from the right but it had all the essentials, particulary a pin cushion, good pair of scisssors, needles and thread, tape measure and most used of all for me, a seam ripper. I was never very good but I loved trying.

Sparkles, I wonder how many of the "young generation" will ever know the joy of having a well outfitted sewing basket! :)))
