Thank you, jcarroll.
Yes, it does rain a lot here. That's why "Vancouverites don't tan, they rust."
Yeah, I know, it's an old joke.
The building you see in the distance with the white sails as a roof is Canada Place. edlwis320 posted a great picture of Canada Place on Sept 1.
To the left of "the sails" there is a real cruise ship. That's where they dock to pick up passengers and supplies for the Alaska cruise.
To the left of the ship is the seabus terminal. More about that later.
What a great picture, cevas! Such a nice, clear day! I thought it rained a lot in Vancover?
Are there cruise ships off to the right side of the picture?
Thank you, alwaysgone (I love your alias.)
Thank you, sbemus. I've only just discovered the joy of posting puzzles on jigidi.
In the morning sometimes we can hear the cry of the seagulls - very neat!
This picture was taken from North Vancouver looking south down Lonsdale Avenue. Across Burrard Inlet you see Vancouver which is the third largest city in Canada. Montreal is larger and Toronto is the largest.
