Very lucky girl. I read about her in one of my horse magazines awhile back. So wonderful that she's adapted like she did.

What a lovely story. I've not seen a horse with an artificial leg before. Years ago they would just be put down.

This is Molly. She was abandoned after Hurricane Katrina. But she is a survivor. She did her best to take care of her leg after it was injured by a dog attack. A vet amputated her leg and now she visits nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. She "asks" for her artificial leg to be put on (and sometimes to be taken off). I believe she lives with a vet. The photo and story came to me from another horse lover.
