When we moved here in 1997 is was covered with mistletoe in the upper limbs, and Brad climbed up and cut it all down. The branches of the mistletoe was an inch around. If it was Christmas we might have made some money sell the mistletoe.

A beauty Jan. Our oaks have just one trunk. Is this usual for your oaks?

Thanks, we have a professional tree man every other year to trim. If we have a hurricane the tree limbs move freely without breaking which would cause damage to house and tree itself .

Gorgeous ... and my oak is only 10 years old.... it has a long way to go... should have dried the mistletoe and saved it until Christmas... Thanks Jan for sharing..
