Hi June, I must tell my husband about the bacon buttie van, he's a one for the bacon sandwich. I've seen a lot of Devon and Dorset over the years two of my favourite counties along with Cumbria, such a variety of scenery...Sue

hi Sue, I have been to Seaton to the West of it and to the Jurassic coast where people were attacking the cliffs with hammers that you could rent from the shop, though I am pretty sure they weren't supposed to be using them on the cliffs. We found an ammonite in the sand. Me being a gannet was a bit more impressed with the delicious bacon butties we bought on the beach from a little van. My brother lives near Ilminster so we did quite a bit of this area.

We will take our time with plenty of stops. We must try the ice cream lots of clotted cream in the mix...Sue

Hi Joyce, we've moved from the North Sea (Boston) to the English Channel. It is a nice coastal town but my husband just reminded me that it's quite hilly here so we'd better bring our walking shoes...Sue

Thank you 48. I like Dorset and have had a few holidays in this area. It's not over crowded with plenty of countryside to enjoy and the Jurassic coastline which is famous for it's fossils...Sue
